About The Sadie Collective
How does the Sadie Collective define Black women?
“Black” is inclusive of the entire African diaspora. Individuals may identify as Black, African American, African, Caribbean or bi/multiracial. Our intention in using the term “women” is to be inclusive of cis women, non-binary people, and those who are otherwise marginalized, whose experiences are aligned with femininity.
Are The Sadie Collective's programming and activities exclusively for Black Women?
The Sadie Collective does not exclude, deny benefits to, or otherwise discriminate against any person on the ground of race, color, national origin, disability, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, or creed in admission to, participation in, or receipt of the services and benefits under any of its programs and activities, and in staff and employee assignments, whether carried out by The Sadie Collective directly or through a contractor or any other entity with which The Sadie Collective arranges to carry out its programs and activities.
